About this Issue

Background

This a closed issue opened to invited submissions only.

The purpose of the International Conference on Neuroprotective Agents (ICNA) is to bring together clinical and basic science researchers from many countries and disciplines in a common forum to address various approaches to neuroprotection. These conferences and their associated summary publications provide a broad, informal, and unique forum in basic sciences as well as clinical disciplines.

The ICNA is generally held every 2 years, and all proceedings have been published except for the very first conference. This issue will publish the work presented at the 2024 ICNA conference with a focus on strategies to protect the nervous system.

THIS ISSUE IS INVITE ONLY. The issue will be open to invited participants of the 2024 ICNA conference. The manuscripts will highlight the research presented at the conference, with a focus on protecting the nervous system.

Articles that are accepted for publication by our external editors following rigorous peer review incur a publishing fee charged to Authors, institutions, or funders.
